De um lado, a defesa da transparência do mercado, da governança corporativa, fundamental para a manutenção da saúde e da confiança no mercado financeiro brasileiro; do outro, o direito à privacidade dos agentes do mercado e executivos da área financeira, no que concerne à não divulgação de informações relacionadas a seus rendimentos."

Nos termos do acordo com a Comissão Federal do Comércio (FTC, na sigla em inglês), o Twitter deve implementar um «programa completo de segurança informática» sob controlo independente, estando também proibido, por um período de 20 anos, de «enganar os consumidores sobre a protecção que dá à segurança e confidencialidade dos seus dados».

Europe must embrace “crazy entrepreneurs” if it is to build more technology companies that challenge American firms, Eric Schmidt, Google’s chairman and chief executive has said.
“You've got to have the crazy entrepreneur types, who you've got to celebrate, which we do in America. And you've got to have the venture capital, which really is 'at risk' capital and is different from other capital.”
Mr Schmidt said that in parts of Europe the venture capital industry was being held back. "It takes a very long time to get a proper venture capital industry going. And in Europe there are many countries where the failure of venture capital is in fact seen as criminal, Germany, for example.”
